His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, honored Qassim Cement Company for its participation as a gold sponsor in the fifth edition of the “Shaqaiq Al-Rijal” Award, during the ceremony held today at the Emirate in Buraidah.

The company's sponsorship reflects its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and continuous support for strategic initiatives that empower women and highlight outstanding national role models, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

This year, the award received 305 applications from 9 regions across the Kingdom, with 26 winners selected. Since its inception, the award has recognized 113 distinguished women. The award spans seven officially registered tracks, recognized by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property under the name of the Al-Qassim Emirate.

In his speech, His Royal Highness praised the growing impact of the award in advancing women's empowerment, noting that its very name is a source of pride and honor. He also commended the efforts of the award’s secretariat, judging committees, coordinators, and supporters for their contributions to its continued success.

At the conclusion of the event, Prince Faisal inaugurated the sixth edition of the award and honored the winners across the various categories of excellence, emphasizing the award’s national importance in strengthening the role of Saudi women as active partners in the country’s development.
